A return to Berlin through the slow mechanics of a pinhole. Duration softens architecture into memory, opening a question about what a city reveals when certainty recedes.
A digital sensor and a vintage lens meet in a hybrid field of perception. Fragments of Prague acquire form through selection, tension and the work of making an image.
Lisbon becomes a mirror for more than one observer. Rolleiflex and Polaroid trace a city of shifting voices, where each image offers a temporary alignment between drift and doubt.
The superwide frame turns a walk through Hamburg into a study of relations. Lines, distance and mass give a passing fragment the structure of a personal world-image.
Berlin appears as a layered territory of absence and reconstruction. Through the Pentax 67, framing becomes an act of presence among the city's unresolved histories.
Coffee, a typewriter, a vintage lens and the mechanical shutter interrupt the flow of signals. An interlude on tactile work and the freedom found in deliberate resistance.
Weight, resistance and the unmistakable shutter become the measure of a decision. The Pentax 67 asks the photographer to stay with the image long enough for meaning to emerge.
Looking down into the waist-level finder changes the encounter. Within the square, balance and hesitation turn the simple act of composition into a discipline of attention.
The folding geometry of the Makina asks the gaze to become still. A portrait becomes a negotiation between distance, attention and the fragile presence of another person.
A shutter sound opens a passage between mechanical gesture and human presence. The Hasselblad becomes a way to listen to an image before looking at it.
“Every camera is a doorway. Every shutter a decision.”

Each camera proposes a different relationship with the world.
A waist-level finder changes the posture of looking. A heavy shutter asks for commitment. A pinhole makes duration part of the image. SHUTTER STORIES follows these encounters through sound, gesture and the resulting frame.
The cycle began with individual instruments and opened towards the cities: Berlin, Hamburg, Lisbon and Prague. The question travels with it. How do the tools we choose shape our attention — and the person doing the seeing?
